What is a unifying project of arts and culture education in the Academy of Reims?

  • the PAG, a globalized artistic project8 to 12 hours of artistic and cultural intervention per class for several classes of the same institution or for several classes of several schools
  • the school residence 100 to 120h of artistic and cultural presence in immersion in an entire school or several of the same sector
  • the bridge early childhood residence : flexible time of artistic and cultural intervention according to the scope of the project related to the needs of the field with the kindergarten small section classes and early childhood care places
  • the residence of territory : flexible time of artistic and cultural intervention according to the scale of the project related to the needs of the field in all places and the living time of young people and inhabitants of an EPCI including in schools

Objectives of the approach

The government objective of the 100% EAC is that each child enrolled in school benefits from a major artistic and cultural project per cycle, based on the 3 pillars of the EAC (encounter of works and artists, practice with artists to experience a specific artistic creation process, know and understand to develop a critical sense and a personal relationship to art and culture).

The territorial objective is to ensure a balanced distribution of projects taking into account the priority geography, particularly in rural revitalization areas, in REP, Priority Education Network and QPV, Political District of the city, in coherence with the PEAC, Artistic and cultural education of schools and the cultural policy of territories in all places and times of life of young people and inhabitants.

The estimated cost of the action is estimated according to the chosen format and the scale you want to give to your project. You will then work the budget precisely with the instructors according to the needs of the field and the project co-constructed with the teachers and other beneficiaries between March and May if your application is selected in March by the departmental monitoring committees.

*Remuneration for interventions by cultural professionals : the DRAC subsidy contributes to the hourly wage up to 60 € per hour, charge the employer to respect the collective agreement in force. For middle and high schools, this expense is eligible for the Culture pass.

Procedure

The estimated cost of the action is estimated according to the chosen format and the scale you want to give to your project.
Remuneration for interventions by cultural professionals : the DRAC subsidy contributes to the hourly wage up to 60 € per hour, charge the employer to respect the collective agreement in force. For middle and high schools, this expense is eligible for the Culture pass.

The grant is paid in one instalment from July 2024. The grant is paid by the DRAC Grand Est for the departments of Marne and Aube. When there is a territorial contract of artistic and cultural education (CTEAC) signed between the collectivity and the State as in the Ardennes and Haute-Marne, it is the departmental council that puts in payment the files according to the procedures in force from July 2024.

The file consists of a detailed memorandum of intent. It is not a proposal for the provision of services or a project co-constructed and finalized with field partners (see application form).

Eligible pre-projects are examined against the following criteria:

  • Interest of the artistic and cultural approach
  • Creation news
  • Creation process to share
  • Needs identified by the field
  • Renewal of artistic presence in the territories

  • File opening: 18 December 2023
  • Application deadline: 29 February, 23:59 (Paris time). No file may be filed or taken into account after this date.
  • Joint examination of files by DRAC and DSDEN: February to March 2024
  • Selection of proposals by departmental monitoring committees: early March 2024
  • Co-construction of projects by artists, teachers and local authorities: from March to May 2024
  • Opinion of the inspection bodies of the National Education on the pedagogical contents, opinion of the advisers DRAC on the artistic and cultural contents on the projects finalized from May to June
  • Academic validation commission co-chaired by the DRAC and the rector in the presence of the partner communities and coordinators of the CTEAC of the Academy of Reims at the end of June 2024
  • Payment of files from July 2024
  • Project implementation: September 2024 to June 2025
