He was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as a temple worker in the Salt Lake Temple for 10 years and also for 10 years in the Jordan River Temple. An avid outdoorsman, he was State Champion Trapshooter. He loved his grandchildren and devoted much time to them. Interment, Murray City Cemetery. Harry Douglas Bradbury, Sr. WEST BOUNTIFUL- -Harry Douglas Bradbury, husband, father and good friend, died April 29, 1993 after a struggle with Melanoma skin cancer. Doug is now free to enjoy a life of peace and love. His friends and family will dearly miss him and await the day when they can join him.

Doug was bom March 15, 1951 to Franklin Idaho Bradbury and Joy Dee Allgood Bradbury. He lived in Salt Lake Cify until the age of six and then moved to Bountiful. He attended Bountiful High School and Utah Technical College. At the age of 17, he started his career as a transmission mechanic, working for numerous businesses throughout the Intermountain West. He ended his career at Diesel Power Systems, the only individual in this part of the country qualified to repair the latest German ZF trans.

He married Geraldine (Gerrie) Carranza on September 18, 1971, and their marriage produced two wonderful sons. Doug is survived by his loving wife, Gerrie; his two sons, Doug Jr. (Sonny) and Dustin; his parents: his brothers, Frank, Jr. (Jane); Robert (Marsha), Stromberg Scott (Kurt); his Brother Brent Alland (Julie); his sister, Jody Bradbury good. Preceded in death by his sister, Carranza, Jeannie.

Born member of the goodly LDS Church, and had the spirit of of parents, she was a lifelong peace always in her heart. She and Lyman were married for 64 years before his death. Utah- Pioneer, editor, writer, educator, Dr. Carton Fordis Culmsee, 88, died peacefully, Thursday, April 29, 1993 in Logan, Utah. He was born September 18, 1904, the son of Ludwig Alfred and Clara Belia Hansen Culmsee. He gave the Valedictory address at BYU and promptly married Edna Mae Ball, June 5, 1932 in Provo, Utah. She died July 1976.

They had one son, Ralph, who died in 1956. Carlton married Aileen Leatham Swift Barker in 1978. His family were settlers in the Escalante Desert between Lund and Milford beginning in 1912, where he grew up. He graduated from high school at BAC in Cedar Cify and was made principal and teacher at a one-room school while still 17. Meanwhile he was homesteading a half section of land.

He went on to gain master's and doctor's degrees. At Brigham Young University he became a professor of Joumalism and the Director of Extension. He served in World War It from 1942-1945, gaining rank of Lt. Commander in Naval Air. For 25 years he was a professor of English, Journalism and American Studies and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Utah State University, interrupted by a one year stint at the National Chegchi University of Taiwan.

He is survived by his wife and her (Carlton's daughter, Diane Patton and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death in 1990 by another Honorary daughter, Carolyn B. Talbot. Funeral services will be held Monday, 12 noon. in the Logan 24th Ward Chapel, 1260 North 1600 East.

During his career, he traveled the world enhancing his deep love for people of all nations. His interest in music led him to perform with the New Freedom Singers at Ricks and later with the Utah Oratorio Society. Jeff loved to compose music and sing for friends and family. He will be remembered for the love the attention he gave to his nephews and nieces. During the last years of his life, Jeff spent his time doing temple work and volunteer work for the Food Bank, Salt Lake Health Clinic and the Utah AID's Foundation where his sweet influence lifted many.

Jeff is remembered for being fun-loving and witty. His keen sense of humor was a source of pleasure and joy to all. He is cherished, is missed and will be loved forever.
