Over the last few years we have been working closely with the Montana Biocontrol Coordination Project and our local Cooperative Weed Management Area, to collect and distribute biocontrol agents throughout the county as an alternative to chemical applications. Although this method of treatment may take longer, the results can be astounding if executed efficiently. Learn more about how biocontrol works here! TONIGHT, Public Meeting for the Draft Updated Upper Yellowstone Channel Migration MapThe migration map is a non-regulatory tool that illustrates historic river channel movement over time and identifies locations that are susceptible to future channel movement and erosion. Montana Freshwater Partner's consultant will present the draft map to the public, answer questions, and receive input. Once finalized, the completed map will be made available on the internet in the form of an interactive mapping tool that the public can access free of charge. Informational Workshop on Park County Subdivision Regulations Update ProcessJune 11th: The Park County Planning Department will hold a public meeting/workshop to educate the community about updating the Park County Subdivision Regulations. The Park County Commission made a determination to move forward with updating the 2010 Park County Subdivision Regulations. The meeting will provide an overview of the Subdivision Regulation contents, a description of the overall process, and allow members of the public to ask questions of the Planning Staff. The public meeting/workshop will take place onJune 11, 2024 at 6:00pmin the Community Room of the City/County Complex, located at 414 East Callender Street, Livingston, Montana. The public meeting will also be available online viaZOOM. The meeting/workshop will be an informational meeting only, with no decision being made. |

This free community science project needs your help to track these iconic pollinators. Attend in-person workshop in Bozeman on June 15th, 2024, to gain the skills and confidence needed to participate. The workshop covers everything from site selection to data submission, along with the basics of bumble bee ecology and identification.
